Archikon Ltd. was established in 1989, and has been employed from the beginning by public, commercial, residential and industrial buildings as comprehensive designer and general planner. Reconstructions and new buildings designed for communities are an essential part of our references. Our office can show numerous realized projects in the fields of culture, sport and leisure, education, social-, and healthcare, initiated by the assignments of local governments, state institutions and communities. Many of these buildings were appreciated with architectural awards (Budapest Architectural Niveau Prize, Construction Niveau Prize, etc.) For real estate developers we have planned primarily unique buildings, renovations, and monument extensions. The buildings and the investors, as well as the designers and constructors of these projects have also been appreciated (Fiabci Special Award, Aluta Niveau Prize). In residential buildings we focus also on innovative and environmentally conscious solutions, as it is represented by Hungary’s first passive house apartment building for 100 homes. The third segment involves the industrial projects, our clients come primarily from the car industry (Audi), microelectronics (Infineon) and pharmaceutical industry (Sanofi Chinoin). Our office works in an accustomed cooperation with professional co-designers and has a wide range of partners in the fields of construction, engineering, logistics, electrics, landscape, etc., therefore we are able to customize the most relevant team according to the task.
