LAVIT Atelier is an architecture and design studio based in Paris. Architecture and design naturally engage in a parallel conversation, fueled by the experience of photography. The studio is constantly seeking a conceptual essentiality, perpetuating a timeless production journey.

Marco Lavit's education across France, Italy, and Australia

Born in 1986, Marco Lavit studied architecture at the Ecole Speciale d'Architecture in Paris and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He graduated from ESA in 2011 with a thesis on sustainable winery design. His design sensibility was shaped during his time with architect and designer Riccardo Blumer. His tenure at LAN Architecture further solidified his architectural direction, with a strong focus on design culture and attention to detail.

An atelier rooted in dialogue with artisans

Marco Lavit founded Atelier LAVIT in Paris in 2014. Since then, the studio has been active in France and Italy, developing work based on dialogue with artisans and their savoir-faire, with a particular focus on Made in Italy. The studio pursues essential forms and timeless production, where raw materials speak for themselves. Projects range from bespoke design and limited edition pieces to industrial design, scenography, outdoor installations, interior design, and the realization of homes and hotels.
