mmediately after Irit Axelrod, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technological Institute of Israel Technion, avenged his first architectural commission, the building of the Ben Gurion Heritage Institute in southern Israel. Twenty years later, Axelrod continues to bring his sense of "silent power" to all his projects, now dividing his time between Tel Aviv and San Francisco, where he established his state office (Axelrod Design) in 2006. Raised in Tel Aviv, Axelrod was surrounded by the city's early 20th century architecture of international style. The beauty of concrete constructions, part of his daily experience, has made a significant impression on the young Axelrod. Monolithic forms continue to influence his work today.
