Claudio Papa: Successful Industrial Designer

Claudio Papa was born in Catania on May 5, 1964, and obtained a degree in Industrial Design in 1991 from ISIA Roma Design. His thesis, done in collaboration with Piaggio, opened up job opportunities at the company, where he could experiment in various professional fields.

For eight years, Papa collaborated with Carlo Urbinati, a designer at Jacuzzi, getting closer to the bathroom furniture sector, an area in which he still operates today. He was later hired by Albatros to develop wellness projects and, in 2018, he took on the role of art director for the company's relaunch.

Today, Claudio Papa is the art director at Disenia, part of the IdeaGroup. He recently presented "The Wellness Collection" at the 2023 Cersaie fair, a project that reinterprets the concepts of well-being and luxury, offering a slower and more attentive vision to personal needs.

Archipelago: A Cultural Project and Business Network

Papa is also responsible for the design activities of Archipelago, a cultural project that serves as a business network for interior design professionals. Archipelago promotes the exchange of ideas among designers, architects, and companies, fostering meaningful relationships and forward-thinking projects. Additionally, it is involved in the training of young designers.

Claudio Papa is currently the Vice President of ADI for the territorial delegation of Friuli Venezia Giulia, actively contributing to the promotion of design at a regional level.
