Dario Castellino was born in Cuneo in 1965 and graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Turin in 1993. In 1994, he founded his own studio which deals with architectural design, restoration, urban redevelopment, recovery of religious buildings, museum installations, design of residential and commercial buildings for both public and private clients.
He has been involved in the design of the trade fair and multifunctional district for the Municipality of Cuneo, the recovery of the former textile factory for the Tucci Russo Contemporary Art Gallery, the restoration of Roccasparvera Castle, the recovery of Fortezza Albertina in Vinadio which houses the Montagna in Movimento museum, the enhancement of Linari Castle, the recovery of the Paraloup and Campofei hamlets, the creation of the Victor Salvi Harp Museum, the enhancement of San Paolo Church in Caraglio, the construction of the Parusso Winery in Monforte d'Alba, and dozens of residential construction projects.
He has collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as Richard Long and teaches as a contract lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Turin.
Some of his works have been published in architecture magazines and books.
