Piazza Cavour is the main square of Favara; it is a beautiful square and houses several noble palaces: the Chiaramonte Castle, the municipal library created by Baron Mendola, a forgotten patron. Years ago the square during the night was a place where it bivouacked without having anything to do and many young people moved to Agrigento to spend their evenings. Today the square hosts small hotels, pizzerias, bars and taverns
