Giuseppe Sessa
Corso Giacomo Matteotti, 179-56025 Pontedera (PI)
Giuseppe Sessa, architect and designer, was born in 1970 and trained in Florence under the guidance of Remo Buti, one of the main exponents of radical architecture. Still a student, in 1998 he founded the studio Italian Design in Pontedera, a city famous for the legendary Vespa Piaggio.
Professional Beginnings
In Pontedera, Giuseppe Sessa began to experiment with shapes and materials, designing furniture for private homes, shops, exhibition stands, and offices. His creative approach allowed him to grow professionally, forging collaborations with prestigious brands such as Ifo Design, Formitalia, and Tonino Lamborghini.
Architecture and Industrial Design
Throughout his career, Sessa has dedicated himself to architecture, interior design, and industrial design, continuing to explore and experiment with new materials. He tests prototypes in his own workshop, a key tool in his creative process, which ensures maximum control in every phase of his work.
Collaborations and Successes
In 2016, in collaboration with Vama Cucine, Sessa designed Materia, a new concept of contemporary kitchen. In 2017, at the 6th edition of Architecture Work in Progress Worldwide, one of his works was selected among the 124 major international architecture projects.
