Lascia La Scia
Via Carlo Boncompagni, 57, 20139 Milano, MI, Italy
The creative studio Lascia la Scia was founded in 2011 by a team of five female architects: Chiara Sangalli, Laura Berni, Valentina Crepaldi, Carola Davì, and Silvia Pilotti. The practice is based on a shared sensitivity and a design method enriched by the diverse skills of each professional.
The developed projects reflect a passion for details, the recovery and enhancement of existing elements, along with a careful search for well-being through a thoughtful selection of materials and colors. The studio's activities range from personalized interiors for individuals to corporate services, creating setups and retail projects in line with the brand's values and image.
From the smallest to the largest intervention, a distinctive value is attributed to each project, leaving a tangible trace of the identity of those who will inhabit the spaces. Attention to detail extends from the design process to the final realization, as detail is considered synonymous with care, deep reflection, and wonder.
The sensitivity in understanding and interpreting people's needs, transforming them into concrete projects, constitutes the key to the design and research process. The home is considered the third skin, an intimate expression of being, a place to feel welcomed, embraced, and protected. Therefore, each project is approached with dedication, taking measurements through analysis, study, and understanding of the needs, desires, and style of those who will live in the spaces. Like craftsmen, unique and unrepeatable projects are tailored for those who will inhabit those places.
In the developed projects, the recovery and enhancement of existing elements are privileged, whether they are coverings or vintage furniture to be reinvented.
