Tiny Architecture
Leonardo Di Chiara is a young Italian architect and engineer who explores the fascinating world of tiny architecture, collaborating since 2016 with Tinyhouse University and Van Bo Le-Mentzel in Berlin.
The encounter with Van Bo encouraged him to try living with the essentials. This is why he decided to design a minimalist tiny house inspired by the beauty of emptiness: aVOID.
The aVOID Project
With this project, he participated as an official member of the Bauhaus Campus Exhibition in 2018, a small experimental village within the prestigious garden of the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum of Design in Berlin.
As the only Italian architect to design a house in the Campus, he collaborated with the best companies from his region of origin, the Marche, to create aVOID.
After the campus, the small house on wheels went on tour, opening its doors to all visitors interested in learning more about "tiny living." During the journey, the architect's intention is to invite people to test the house and discuss new concepts to make city living more sustainable.
