Onda Arquitectura is an architectural design studio based in Madrid and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, renowned for its distinctive projects that encompass a wide range of typologies, including residential, infrastructure, and commercial buildings. The studio has received national recognition by winning numerous competitions and has also stood out internationally through prestigious publications such as ArchDaily and Architizer. Javier Haddad: Leadership and Academic and Professional Experience

Co-director Javier Haddad, an architect and urban planner, brings extensive experience in the field, with internationally acclaimed projects. As the founder of Onda Arquitectura in 2014, he has garnered various awards and recognitions globally. Previously, he worked as a Design Manager for Apple in California, designing Apple Retail Stores in Europe and South America, including the stores in Puerta del Sol in Madrid, The Hague, and Village Mall in Rio de Janeiro. Throughout his career, Haddad has collaborated with Pritzker Prize-winning architecture firms such as SANAA, REX, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), designing iconic buildings like the New Museum in New York and the multifunctional Museum Plaza complex. In the academic realm, he has taught at TU Wien University in Vienna and participated in design reviews at prestigious American universities, including Berkeley and Syracuse. In collaboration with artist Haluk Akakce, he has also produced video installations exhibited in prominent venues such as the Whitney Museum and Deitch Projects Gallery.
