Founded in 2001 by Jean Baptiste Pietri, a graduate of the Paris-Belleville School of Architecture, PietriArchitectes, based in Paris, has about twenty members. The agency operates mainly in the Paris region and in the south-east of France, with a great variety of projects: from public to private, from the individual house, to the office tower or even in a luxury hotel. The agency claims a demanding and poetic architectural approach, built and developed around its own philosophy: "romantic rationalism". This concept connects a constructive, rigorous and optimized conception to a precise and meaningful analysis of the site. elegant, soft and timeless Material nobility occupies a primordial place in the design of the project, thus PietriArchitectes designed a unique ceramic for the undulating façade of the back of La Barquière, a program of 62 accommodations delivered in November 2016 in Marseille In 2014, the agency won two awards: a mention to Les Trophées VMZinc in the "2014 collective housing" category for Carré Seine, a housing project in Issy-les-Moulineaux, and "Le Geste d'Or" award for the rehabilitation of the Cathedral of La Major in Marseille In 2016, PietriArchitectes won with two other agencies the international competition for the restructuring of the the banks of the Rhine at Huningue.
