Portable Republic


República Portátil is an architecture and design studio based in Concepción, Chile. Founded by a group of architects and designers, including Luis Felipe Maureira, Julio Suárez, Valentina Torres, industrial designer Andrés Moreno, and publicist Cristina Vergara, all graduates from the University of Bío-Bío.

The studio stands out for a multidisciplinary approach that integrates art and architecture, focusing on temporary installations and interventions in public spaces.

República Portátil's philosophy is based on creating temporary spaces that promote social interaction and reflection on the use of public space. Their work has been widely published in specialized magazines and has received recognition both nationally and internationally.
