Studio MK27, located in the bustling city of São Paulo, was founded in the late 1970s by architect Marcio Kogan and today is composed of 30 architects and various collaborators worldwide. The architects on the team, great admirers of the Brazilian modernist generation, seek to carry on the task of rethinking and continuing this iconic architectural movement. Studio MK27's projects value formal simplicity and are crafted with extreme care and attention to detail and finishes. Kogan is an honorary member of the AIA (American Institute of Architecture), a Professor at Escola da Cidade in São Paulo and at the Polytechnic University of Milan, considered by Época magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in Brazil, part of Wallpaper's "150 famous for 15 years," and ranked 39th on Dezeen's 2017 Hot List. He leads a team of architects, most of whom have been working with him for over a decade.
