In the heart of the countryside between Florence and Pisa lies the "Toscana Resort Castelfalfi," a luxury resort in a place surrounded by an enchanting landscape of vineyards and olive trees that stretch to the horizon
The project is based on a significant restyling, divided into several time phases, which started from the renovation of the rooms to some areas of the common areas through both interior and outdoor design. The studio's goal was to give a strong character to the structure with special attention to details and materials used, creating a perfect synergy between the Borgo's past and future
The design concept is based on creating interconnections between the interior design and the nature of the surrounding landscape, through the material and color choices. But above all, the relationship of this place, with a strongly Tuscan character, with the rest of the world, as suggested by the emblematic marble globe present at the entrance to the lobby
Castelfalfi's design interprets the stage of a unique journey made of emotions, history and culture, between the territory and the world. Fluid and welcoming spaces in which to spend time have been recreated in all common areas. The layout is open and follows the pre-existence, but thanks to the furnishings, lighting effects, and color choices, one discovers true islands of relaxation, each distinct from the other, both in design and function but connected by a broader and more engaging narrative
Every detail brings back references to the land, from the spaces, the lighting, the shapes and colors with textures and patterns that are completely unique and evocative. It all really comes together in a design sewn to the structure in a tailored and unique way
