The Duka stand at Bologna's Cersaie 2021, designed by monovolume architecture + design as an open space exhibition work, guides the visitor on a sensory journey, interpreting the fall of water through the transparency of glass, white lighting, and vertical vegetation. The curvilinear roof, reminiscent of a wave's ripples, encompasses a spacious area with a bar zone, a kitchen, a lobby, and a private area reserved for one-on-one meetings
Duka Stand at Bologna's Cersaie. Concept on the art of water for a sensory journey
The melody of the water's cascade conveys feelings of well-being. The design of the Duka stand, a leading company in the shower enclosure market, is conceived in reflection on the art of water, its sound, and rhythm
To intensify the theatrical aspect of the stand, numerous white LED bulbs are arranged in a "jet" fashion along the concave curvature. Symbolizing water droplets, the luminous covering plays with the viewer's perception. In the display, the distribution of the shower cabins intertwined with shared areas reflects the multifaceted identity of the "dukaversum," a reality that adapts to various bathroom space types
The immersive experience of the Duka stand is enhanced by interactive opportunities, from the social column to stay connected even in the virtual space, to the welcome desk, the center of human relations. Beyond the rhythmic aspect of the water, several green spots with plants and vertical green walls contribute to the sensory experience
