Sidepig is an abstract and iconic character that could have been taken from a comic book. A cheerful and playful design project by the Dutch creative movement WERKWAARDIG that also pays special attention to the theme of sustainability.

A playful design icon

Sidepig by Werkwaardig Furniture Design is a coffee table with an original shape and playful aesthetics, designed to combine functionality and sustainability. Made of recyclable polyethylene, it is a practical and durable piece of furniture that is scratch-resistant and easy to clean. Its lightweight design allows for easy movement, thanks to its characteristic shape that allows it to be grabbed by the tail.

This unique design solution makes it perfect for both indoor and outdoor environments, adapting with versatility to different contexts of use. Available in various shades, it easily complements any style of decor. In addition to its aesthetic value, the coffee table offers excellent stability and weather resistance, making it ideal for use in gardens, terraces, and outdoor spaces.

The eco-friendly coffee table that saves the planet

Werkwaardig Furniture Design has paid great attention to material selection, using recycled polyethylene for its creation. Two of the available color variants, OCEANBLACK and SEAGREEN, have been developed through the recovery of recycled fishing nets, in collaboration with the Organization of Waste-Free Oceans.

Its conscious and responsible approach transforms Sidepig into a concrete example of how design can combine creativity and environmental respect, contributing to waste reduction and the use of sustainable resources.
