The TapWire utilizes the absorbent properties of a cord made of organic material that gradually keeps the soil hydrated. With this system, which, thanks to Studio Lorier's design, takes on a recognisable image and clearly shows its purpose, there is a better understanding of when a plant needs water. Simply fill the glass with water and let the plant grow with the right amount of liquid always available
Iconic design of a simple but functional watering system for pot plants: the TapWire
The TapWire is based on the system of a water-immersed rope that allows the plants in which it is installed to absorb the necessary water for many days as it becomes moistened.

The TapWire is universal and fits all types of flower pots and several TapWires can be combined to feed plants from one glass. Extra nutrients can also be added to the water for better results. The TapWire is 3D printed with organic, recycled and recyclable plastic
To finance the production equipment, material and shipping, Studio Lorier launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The dimensions of the TapWire are 13 cm high and 7 cm wide
