Safe balconies with Garda parapets
The Garda line, in glass and aluminum, ensures a surprising effect of lightness and stability. It is the ideal choice in numerous sectors such as residential and commercial, but also for balconies, terraces, pool edges, fences, mezzanine areas. It allows living spaces favoring natural lighting with a contemporary language.
The Garda parapets, tested in certified laboratories, are composed of different elements designed to guarantee a unique ease and speed of installation in the sector, as well as an aesthetic yield ideal for the world of contemporary architecture.
Glasses
Each parapet can mount different thicknesses of laminated glass, normally tempered and hardened, tested to resist static load and dynamic impact, ensuring maximum safety in case of breakage. The glass parts can be protected with Cleaner treatment that increases the hydrophobic characteristics of the material, reducing cleaning times.
Casings
The different types of casings allow the integration of parapets with any construction solution such as, for example, when a finish in plasterboard or sheet metal is planned. There are 8 colors available for the casings, to meet contemporary architectural demands, all made with customizations in anodic or powder coating.
The Silver casing, in particular, undergoes a 20-micron anodizing process obtaining superior aesthetic and protective characteristics, suitable for guaranteeing the surface to particularly aggressive exposures such as, for example, seaside.
Each parapet is available with or without handrail, even minimal, customizable in different color combinations.
Led
The Garda AP parapet can be combined with the use of LEDs to create a particularly suggestive lighting effect.
Safety first
Aluvetro guarantees full compliance with current regulations. The references are different and present in the NTC 2018 and in the framework of UNI standards. All our parapets are produced in compliance with Italian and foreign regulations and have obtained a declaration of conformity from a qualified technician by passing tests for dynamic and static loads up to 4.5 kN/m (thrust up to 300 kg/m).
