GYPROC DURAGYP ECO ACTIV'AIR® represents an innovative solution in the field of construction materials

Gyproc DuraGyp ECO Activ’Air^® is an advanced plasterboard that integrates sustainability and technology. This product stands out for its significant contribution of recycled material, amounting to 35%, mainly derived from gypsum waste. Its composition includes a denser core than normal, enriched with additives such as glass and wood fibers, which greatly enhance its surface hardness and mechanical strength, classifying it as a type I - R product.
One of the most relevant features of this board is its ability to limit water absorption, classified as type H1, making it particularly suitable for high humidity environments, without sacrificing vapor permeability (type E). This allows its use even outdoors, provided it is protected from the weather. It also helps to improve the fire resistance of the systems in which it is implemented, adding an additional level of safety to buildings (type F).
Among its innovations, the Activ’Air® technology stands out, capable of absorbing and neutralizing up to 70% of the formaldehyde present in the air, thus significantly improving the quality of the indoor environment. This aspect, combined with the prestigious Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification, demonstrates the commitment to creating products that meet the highest European and international standards regarding volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions.
