Slab Punching

The phenomenon of slab punching refers to the detachment and falling of the lower part of the lightweight blocks in reinforced concrete slabs. This event can cause material damage and pose risks to people. The main causes include construction defects, such as incorrect positioning of steel bars, use of large aggregates, design errors, and water infiltrations or unexpected loads.

Anti-Punching System

ArmaNet is the anti-punching system for securing reinforced concrete slabs, consisting of the electro-welded and galvanized ArmaNet mesh, also available on request in stainless steel and reduced-shrinkage fiber-reinforced mortar type SafePlaster. Through mechanical fastening to the structure, it ensures a certified anti-punching measure for overloads up to 130 kg/m².
