Houses with garden
Houses with garden

Architecture that connects fragmented realities. Composition of orthogonal, diagonal and curved lines

Six houses, four identical and two distinctive, share a common garden, within a block, whose composition of the interior space is full of different and fragmented geometries and different materials.

The perimeter of the houses is characterized by thin metal poles that support the building in vertical tension. Inside, thanks to the interplay with the various geometries, unconventional lounges are created

The materiality is complex: white walls, horizontal cement slabs, glossy blue marble floors and sloping ceiling painted pink. The wooden doors and traces of pink marble complement this interplay of materials

The houses define a continuous colonnade that frames the garden, so much so that it becomes impossible to understand where each house starts and ends. The façade is overlapped by rhythmic rows: the thin metal columns, the blue striped doors, the black skylights. The roof is also made up of two layers: a pink corrugated surface fixed under the sheets that underline the thinness of the surface
