The initial idea of the project was to create a launchpad for the development of young startups. In this way young people could live, work, socialize in a single space of inspiration. The result would have been a modern educational centre with multi-functional spaces, assembly halls, which would have been housed in an old church with furniture

The church is none other than the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a landmark for the city of San Francisco, dating back to 1880. Closed for worship in 1990, in recent years the basement of the church itself has been used as a schoolhouse. When the renovation work began, the church was equipped with auxiliary rooms adjoining to the central one, with a capacity of 200 people
The architectural elements have been renovated according to a precise historical reference. One of the requirements of the design was that of elements capable of integration through dry assembly, without affecting the building envelope
To hide religious themes from the stained glass, a multimedia frame with a translucent material on it has been designed. When light passes through it, an interesting refractive effect is created and the church is filled with rays of coloured light
