The building, named Andrum is located in ÅkersbergsStiftsgård, a town whose history dates back to the late 17th century. In keeping with the local tradition of hospitality and care, the farm has been expanded to include a spa centre for physical and mental recovery

Johan Sundber, Swedish architect, expands a building into a wellness center, a spa dedicated to physical and mental recovery using materials such as stone, concrete, wood and glass in line with the tradition of the place
The extension is subordinate to the existing building, located on the slope towards the park. A colonnade characterizes the atrium of the building. The lower rooms have high ceilings and looking around, you can get in touch with nature on all sides
Andrum has several rooms that are interconnected between the lotus: bathroom, sauna, waterfall, steam. There is no shortage of rooms for the various spa treatments. A south-facing, secluded terrace is in direct contact with the park
The materials used are cement, stone, wood and glass, which create a harmonious composition. The design phase primarily focuses on sensual impressions, such as the incidence of light, fragrances, acoustic and tactile experience
