Aparthotel Pec pod Sněžkou: staying in timeless elegance

The architecture studio is building a series of apartments and suites to rent out during holiday periods. The project includes a large continuous ground floor, containing shops, with a rooftop garden that serves as the base for the wooden buildings

Architectural details rooted in the history of the place

The four buildings were built on a plot that once housed a 1980s former shop, maintaining the same design line of the original context. This intervention represents one of the most interesting architectural projects, as it combines respect for the memory of the place with contemporary solutions. The ground floor commercial space has been transformed into an elevated lawn, creating a green space on which the four buildings stand. Inside these buildings, apartments of various sizes have been created by the studio ov architekti with different orientations, offering a wide variety of housing solutions.

Shared Spaces and Integrated Features

The green roof on the former store is not just an aesthetic element, but a true semi-private space dedicated to recreational activities and social events. This green space helps foster a sense of community among residents. The ground floor is equipped with numerous guest services, easily accessible from all apartments through internal entrances. The apartment towers are served by four elevators and internal stairs, while the main structure of the buildings is made of reinforced concrete, ensuring solidity and durability.

High-quality materials and finishes

The building facades are designed with great attention to detail: they are insulated with mineral wool and clad in red cedar wood, a material that gives a warm and natural look. In contrast, the ground floor is finished with a stone cladding, emphasizing its strength and connection to the ground. The apartments can be either for private ownership or for short-term rentals, ideal for holiday stays. Furthermore, the interiors are designed in four different styles, offering owners the opportunity to choose the most suitable design for their needs during the construction phase.
