Solaria Tower in Milan, luxury interior design on the upper floors

On the upper floors of the Torre Solaria in Milan, the tallest residential building in Italy, the Marco Piva studio carries out an interior design project for an important foreign client who was looking for a prestigious real estate opportunity for his stays in the city. The result is a delicate luxury expressed through details and minimalist style, enhancing the essentiality of the design: a balance between elegance and lightness.

Challenges of studying new design possibilities

The Studio Marco Piva has been entrusted with the project after a careful selection process among numerous international studios specialized in interior design projects.
The original layout of the apartment has been modified to meet the aesthetic and usage needs of the new owner, demolishing walls where possible and creating large windows that would give a brighter and more fluid look to the environment.

Redefinition of spaces and functions

The apartment in Torre Solaria becomes a dynamic space connected to the outside, with functionalities dedicated to a contemporary businessman.
Two of the existing rooms have been converted, respectively, into a study and a fitness area, while the third remains for service personnel.

Every detail has a strong character

The workspaces, leisure areas, and relaxation spaces, such as the specifically requested Japanese bath, have been designed to blend tradition and modernity, combining the needs of a businessman with his most intimate sphere: a dedicated home, with a precise identity, in which to recognize oneself during every stay in Milan

Materials and furnishings Made in Italy "on-touch"

A place strongly material but clean and elegant, with an “on touch” effect dictated by the textures, details, and the rhythm in which flooring and cladding materials follow one another: subtle veins, soft colors, and sophisticated contrasts blend with the selected Italian furnishings from the most renowned companies, with custom-designed elements to make the environment unique, and with artworks owned by the client that have been integrated into the design narrative.
