Light and elegance painted on a white canvas in the attic House 0211
House 0211 is a penthouse spread over two levels in the center of Bergamo. At the end of the various demolitions and renovations, the spaces appeared as a blank canvas on which to "paint" the design masterpiece.

The spacious penthouse flooded with natural light
House 0211, located in the heart of Bergamo, one of the architecture projects by Laboratorio Design Italiano, stands as an exclusive penthouse overlooking the city from above. The natural light generously floods the interior spaces, giving a sense of openness and brightness to the entire environment. The living area, spacious and elongated, stands out for its roominess and perfect distribution of light, creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere.
Design solutions to visually define spaces
A raised platform is the chosen solution by designers to define spaces: this solution, further emphasized by the use of a visually impactful ceramic covering, allows for a physical separation of the entrance and service volume from the rest of the environment. This architectural element not only serves as a practical distinction of spaces but also adds a touch of elegance and dynamism to the overall interior design.
The timeless simplicity and elegance of furnishings
The spaces of the penthouse are distinguished by furnishings that, despite their elegance, maintain a simple and discreet sobriety. Similarly, the kitchen is characterized by an essential design, clad in textured doors with a cement finish that give a robust appearance and a rough texture to the touch. This balance between sophistication and simplicity permeates the entire environment, creating a sophisticated yet unpretentious atmosphere.
The staircase, a pivotal element of the project
The internal staircase in the attic is constructed cantilevered, in raw metal, and is enhanced by a scenic lighting that highlights its details. The staircase leads the users of the space to the night floor, which required an extremely accurate design by the studio, given the highly irregular space and the client's requests. In particular, the headboard wall of the master bedroom conceals a walk-in closet while the opposite wall, dividing the dedicated bathroom, has a window in the walk-in shower, allowing light to filter in a play of light and shadow.
