Thanks to the design by the architectural firm domECO, Casa AA is enriched by a small pocket terrace and a large open space with a double-height area, from which one can enjoy a small view of the square that the building overlooks. The final effect is that of a modern and elegant attic apartment, but above all bright, with several exposures and viewpoints that give the idea of an extremely wide space
Fusion of three attics for the realization of Casa AA: a transmuted space, wide, modern and elegant
Casa AA, located in a recently renovated building on one of the main squares in the historic center of Sassari, is the result of the union of three attic units on two levels that had a traditional layout: lit only by skylights and a French door. The structural interventions carried out have allowed for a complete overhaul of the spaces in the new dwelling

The kitchen also overlooks the terrace, which, designed to remain open to the living area, maintains a high degree of privacy. The living area is spread over several levels and, through the handmade wooden stairs, leads to the second entrance of the house and to the study
The sleeping area is well separated from the living area and overlooks the terrace, giving a wider perception of the spaces. The two new bathrooms are separated by a frosted white glass slab between the two showers: a design trick to ensure effective natural lighting also to the windowless bathroom
In addition to the new layout of the apartment, the most valuable feature of the interior design project is the imposing carpentry work that has been carried out, meticulously designed to make the most of the lower areas of the attic. An alternation of illuminated niches, wall strips, and oak inserts creates a language that speaks of organization and uniform craftsmanship throughout the house
