Casa entre Pinos takes its name from the 5 pine trees that peacefully protect the surroundings on which the dwelling stands and soften the horizon. We are on the sloping land adjacent to the golf course of the Altozano residential complex, in Morelia, Mexico

Casa entre Pinos is a volume where 3 floors, two residential and one dedicated to services, are creatively connected, but leaving the space as the protagonist of nature.
The main access is at the intermediate level, which corresponds to the first dwelling with function as a guest house or it could alternatively be used as a living area for the loft on the top floor designed for the owners. The upper level enjoys the best views, and is still equipped to be completely independent in case of several families staying in the house

Infante Arquitectos' project explores flexibility and space interconnection, both inside and outside, resolving with sliding systems, patios and large glass openings. Upon entering we immediately perceive this aspect, with a double height permeated by light and a magnolia tree that create the feeling of being outdoors, even if the space is covered. The living area coexists and interacts with one of the five pine trees, while the dining room and kitchen join the outdoor terrace expanding the space

The upper loft has the ability to "be isolated " or become one with the lower level by means of a balcony which embraces the natural context, merging as a "whole"; the top floor of Casa entre Pinos is also able to connect to the garden by means of a translucent screen that runs transversely, creating a continuous space in contact with the outside

Among the palette of materials 3 basic elements stand out, woods to give the warmth, quarry stone typical of the region with a sober character of immortality and bare steel with a modern touch. In the Casa entre Pinos we find that balance of an architecture that speaks of its contemporaneity and adapts to the context both naturally and architecturally
