Infante Arquitectos takes up a request from the owner of a small plot of land to build a dwelling that would meet the needs of an average family. The design proposal takes into consideration the architectural values of light and gravity
House EP-A and the gravity-defying elevation
The architectural values of light and gravity drive the design of Casa EP-A and its façade with two bodies suspended on top of each other, seemingly weightless.

House EP-A presents, on the main facade, two bodies suspended over each other, seemingly weightless, exerting tension between them. The architecture deliberately exploits the irregularity of the terrain, each volume escaping in a different direction, giving an authentic character to the construction that distorts visual perception
The house is divided into two parts, the ground floor for the public and service area, the upper floor for the intimate area. Large sliding glass windows ensure that a lot of natural light and ventilation enters the interior. The dining room and kitchen are connected making the spaces seem larger while being compact
The materials when it comes to finishes are simple, white color is preferred so that the light is in charge of giving shades depending on the time of day as the sun sets on the walls, creating a different atmosphere in and around each area
