A retaining wall at a height of 6 metres, with great visual impact, divides two platforms, which are therefore isolated
The house, located on the upper platform, is built with ceramic bricks and its perimeter is surrounded by a small terrace
The lower level, however, has a garden and a swimming pool, difficult to reach because of the retaining wall
The project aims to create a new connection between the two platforms, which can reduce the visual impact of the retaining wall, through a metal staircase
In addition, a new level has been inserted between the two platforms, which constitutes the new work space: a wooden volume, open to the main garden, autonomous and bioclimatic
The new compact volume, built with wooden slats, is separated from the lower level by a metal structure
The wooden slats, which characterise the new volume, act as a sunscreen and guarantee the privacy of the working space
The lower garden now houses a porch, where the pool is located and where guests can enjoy the sunny terrace
