One volume, one wall, one staircase. Expansion of House JC

In the heart of nature, Casa JC is a project that blends architecture and landscape: a balance between transparency and solidity, between welcoming interiors and a constant dialogue with the surrounding environment, where natural light becomes the protagonist of daily living.

Architecture Rooted in Context

Casa JC is born from the desire to create a home that harmoniously integrates into the landscape, respecting its morphology and peculiarities. The project, designed by Alventosa Morell Arquitectes, is developed based on principles of sustainability and reduced environmental impact, promoting a fluid interaction between interior and exterior. The large glass surfaces allow natural light to invade the spaces, enhancing the materials chosen for construction. This intervention represents a virtuous example of how architectural projects can combine aesthetics and functionality, creating comfortable environments without altering the natural context.

Arranging spaces for comfort

The arrangement of spaces follows a precise logic, designed to ensure a high level of thermal and visual comfort. The use of natural materials such as wood and local stone helps strengthen the connection with the environment, while the choice of passive solutions for climate control reduces energy consumption. Each space has been designed to maximize the perception of space and the connection with the outdoors, making the house a place to live in harmony with nature.

Volumes and alternating transparencies

Casa JC is characterized by an essential volumetric composition, in which pure geometries interact with the transparency of glass surfaces. The result is a perfect balance between solidity and lightness, between protection and openness. The interior spaces unfold fluidly, without rigid boundaries, allowing light to shape the environment and create evocative atmospheres. The orientation of the building has been studied to optimize natural lighting and ensure effective natural ventilation, contributing to living comfort.

A new way of inhabiting the landscape

Casa JC is an example of how contemporary architecture can interact with the landscape without compromising its balance. The design approach taken by Alventosa Morell Arquitectes demonstrates that it is possible to build modern and functional homes without sacrificing an authentic relationship with the natural environment. Every detail has been carefully considered to enhance the quality of life for residents, offering bright, welcoming spaces that are perfectly integrated into the surrounding context.
