The house identified by López Duplan Arquitectos studio was no more than 3 years old, and it was necessary to make some changes to the existing architectural project to adapt it to the needs of the new owners. The main changes included moving the kitchen, as it needed to be much larger, creating a separate playroom, and incorporating a family TV and entertainment room. The sizes of the service areas were also increased
New Interiors of Casa JRQZ in Mexico City

The chosen property proved to be the most attractive because, in addition to having a splendid location, it also had a beautiful garden

The central element of Casa JRQZ's interior design focused on the garden views, which were prioritized in all spaces. In addition to the generous amount of natural light, the new large windows also defined the distribution of spaces and the selection of finishes to harmonize with the nature visibly present in the immediate exterior
A significant portion of the carpentry and bookshelves was custom-designed for the house, and existing elements were modified to integrate them into the project. Major modifications were made to the bathrooms, and a centralized lighting and audio system was designed
