The building has a rectangular shape and embraces the entire landscape environment. The offices, meeting spaces and a bar overlooking the external landscape are located on the ground floor for social activities. On the second floor, in addition to three large rooms, there is a large terrace that combines indoor and outdoor activities

In the municipality of Montornès del Vallès, Spain, OBO Estudi studio designs a youth center with a rectangular shape, in which the interior spaces are projected towards the surrounding landscape

For the completion of the building a typical construction system of the industries in the area is chosen, a modular metal structure with prefabricated facade panels. The cladding of the long facades is made of pine wood staves, while for the short ones a mesh enriched by vegetation is used
The building envelope is highly airtight and has low transmittance, with good solar protection and a high-efficiency air exchanger. A photovoltaic system counteracts energy consumption, as well as monitoring the rooms with CO2 detectors and promoting air changes when necessary
