ARCO Arquitectura Contemporánea designs the CimOrt Laboratories and Corridor project. The objective of the corridor's redevelopment was to transform the distribution space into an exhibition and meeting space: a place that students and teachers can always use, both as a gallery for works produced in workshops, for presentations, conversations, and much more
Restyling of a School in Mexico City. CimOrt Laboratories and Corridor

In the corridor, ceramic tiles have been used, and a vinyl light fixture with a wood effect has been added, providing warmth and serving as a sound-absorbing element; color accents connect the new exhibition space to the i.d.e.a. lab and the other school laboratories. It is a playful, very enjoyable, and functional space
The corridor leads to the 5 laboratories of the school: Powerlab, which supports children with learning difficulties with various therapists; Design, which is the only laboratory for school staff and not for students, where everything related to the design, communication, and events of the school is learned and practiced; Robotics, a practical robotics laboratory; and the art laboratory connects with an extension of the Makerspace
Each laboratory is carefully designed in collaboration with the school staff to understand its use and define its needs, as well as to be able to design or choose the most appropriate furniture and equipment. Special facilities have been created for the extraction systems of cutting machines, electrical supplies for tools in the ceilings, and the specific type of light needed for each activity has been reviewed and installed, ensuring the safety and well-being of all users
