This project leads one to reflect on the fact that the ultimate goal of any architectural work is shelter, not the appearance of impeccable, neat, and visually perfect architecture, and that more real and imperfect architectural works could be appreciated

CPJ is located on a 500-square-meter site in Lujan de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina, on the outskirts of the city's well-established urban core. The context all around sees single-family houses with plots of vineyards and fruit trees

ONA's studio fulfills the clients' wishes: an L-shaped unit for two adults and two children, surrounding a concrete core and a dry patio. The ground floor offers a north-facing area, ideal for dining and relaxing, contrasting with a more secluded sleeping area

The choice of materials is based on two different premises depending on the level: the reinforced concrete second floor with exposed finish and masonry walls, and the metal frame second floor clad in corrugated metal sheeting
