The expansion of the house takes place at the rear of the building. The front part is 1 m higher than the garden floor and, given the desire to connect the garden and the house, internal steps have been added. In this way, the difference in level defined the different uses of space: kitchen and dining room on one side and living room on the other

The expansion is recognizable by its sloping roof shape and the interior and exterior cladding in naturally dyed cork, while the main house is made of brickwork. Thanks to its highly insulating properties, it is not necessary to add other products
A large hinged door and a slit window frame the view of the garden. The pink colour of the windows creates an interesting contrast with the cork. Inside, the colours and shades are warm. A pale grey resin provides a finish to the horizontal and vertical surfaces, creating a continuous surface
