The design by theWork+ studio for Espacio Inteligente envisions it as a flexible space that maximizes its views of the park and organizes its interior for various uses; the aim is to integrate a community of professionals who seek to address the client's needs, offering excellent service before, during, and after sales
Showrooms and design spaces intertwine at the "Espacio Inteligente" in Mexico City
On the sixth floor of the Torres Bioparque complex, located in the southwest part of Mexico City, is the Espacio Inteligente: a showroom for a consultancy firm that specializes in the design and selection of furniture for functional areas of organizations and institutions

Firstly, one encounters the reception area with two screens that display the latest innovations and at the same time conceal the facilities. At the center of the showroom is the sample area with a bar that is 6 meters high and a bookshelf that is 4 meters high. Moving forward, one finds the heart of the showroom: a free space that is 33 meters long with a double-height where the latest furniture and products are displayed. The central space is reflected on black glass, creating an effect of depth and spaciousness. The terrace is used to showcase outdoor furniture and to create a pleasant green space
A sculptural staircase serves to conceal the kitchen and storage areas, and provides access to the operational area located on the mezzanine; this has eleven workstations, printing areas, and a private office. Within the showroom, all spaces are naturally ventilated and lit. All structural elements are covered with acoustic panels that reduce noise and optimize sound
Regarding the materials chosen for the project, we can identify two categories: a fixed one and one for the showroom. The fixed materials include marbles, acoustic panels, decorative tapestries, structure, and paint, which are alternately displayed on the walls
