The project embraces several processes in a hotel resort located in the southern part of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. In a lot with an irregular topography, there is a set of terraced buildings that tend to spread and settle in the slope generating different platforms and levels with open spaces, buildings and terraces. Here we can distinguish five buildings located in the perimeter of the plot

Zooco Studio designs a resort in Tenerife taking advantage of the irregular shape of the terrain and the views. The terraces shades its organic structure and the basic materials such as white basalt and bamboo emphasize its forms. The project implemented in several phases has thus regained its identity
The project was carried out in different phases, with procedures of different scales but with a clear idea from the beginning: to elucidate the pre-existence and restore the lost identity of the Flamingo Hotel: elegance, wellness and exclusivity. For this, the white color is used as a base as well as bamboo, basalt stone, a vernacular mineral from the area, and glass combined with pointed colored elements highlighting the "Flamingo"
The main building is also the access building and incorporates different uses such as the lobby, bar, restaurant, commercial area and some hotel rooms; and like the rest of the complex had undergone a mixed fusion of styles that have now been cleaned up with this master plan. Its east and south facades have organic shapes, while its west facade is more regular and orthogonal
Therefore, an expansion was designed in its east-southwest corner with the purpose of generating a seamless transition between the organic element and the facade. This expansion adheres to the natural character of the existing architecture but cleans up its ornamentation and generates horizontal lines creating a massive perception of emptiness that is materialized through mass and glass
