Wellness Oasis, a design that stems from the awareness of the effects of nature on people's well-being; the new headquarters of Best World International to promote a renewed corporate culture and facilitate the return from post-pandemic smartworking

The challenge of a space that makes you feel good and work well

Best World International, a leading cosmetics development and distribution company based in Singapore, has commissioned the Bean Buro studio for the interior design project of its new 22,000 square meter headquarters. The design goal for the "Wellness Oasis" headquarters is to promote wellness and employee collaboration through a sophisticated and inviting space, already enhanced by panoramic views of the ocean and abundant natural light

Fluid spaces to encourage commitment and resilience

The project unfolds from a welcoming reception area equipped with a sculptural wavy blue counter and an exhibition section of company products, continues with well-equipped meeting rooms, a cozy dining area, and a large open space with actual workstations. The employee-focused workspace is characterized by a mix of traditional and flexible desks, as well as dedicated lockers for personal belongings. The spaces are fluid, the transitions gradual, with hybrid functions such as the lounge area where the large screen is used for both company presentations and karaoke sessions

The serenity of nature as a guide

Architects choose the narrative of their design for the Wellness Oasis to be the serenity induced by nature: all shapes and colors are inspired by it. A central aspect of the project is a multifunctional refectory, a bar area modeled with a lush central green island. Located at the heart of an open layout, the island is surrounded by seating and bar tables, and features a mirrored ceiling that creates an engaging optical illusion

An iconic, stimulating, and holistic workplace

The Wellness Oasis, designed with great attention to energy efficiency and acoustic comfort, wins the challenge of being a functional work environment imbued with a refined, subtle aesthetic that promotes the company's identity to the extent of becoming a reference for the design of future franchises
