On the ground floor of the building, the minimalist style of Herzig, designed by interior design studio BÜRO KLK, is embellished by the historicity of the architectural container with its tall windows with decorated grilles, the refined materials of the furnishings and finishes and the elegant dull blue of the walls
Industrial style in Vienna. Eccentric character for a designer restaurant
In the centre of Vienna's colourful 15th district, the 1920s industrial architecture of the former Dorotheum warehouse has recently been renovated to accommodate new activities. In this space with its fascinating Spartan and sophisticated atmosphere, Restaurant Herzig sets up its business premises

The original oiled oak floor provides a precious stage for the original interior design choices that reflect the restaurant's personality: the bar counter is covered with tiles produced by Karak in a decoration that hides the restaurant's logo inside; the sculptural circular tables made of light-coloured mdf contrast with the armchairs upholstered in olive green velvet by Marco Dessi for Wittmann
The walls are brightened up by Clemens Wolf's art in CYMK colours and a large piece by Peter Jellitsch. The Viennese restaurant's eccentric and cool identity is defined definitively by wooden and wire mesh partitions of various geometric shapes which are positioned throughout the space to create dynamism, decoration and a feeling of protected intimacy for diners
