The set of buildings consisting of the original farmhouse, the barn and other wooden outbuildings is located in a flat landscape with ponds near the Lužnice River. The old barn was the first to be reconstructed into a residential cottage, as a meeting place for people, family and friends

The farm, located in the picturesque nature of the protected landscape area of Třeboňsko in southern Bohemia has been reconstructed by NEW HOW architects studio and is equipped with a new wooden building reminiscent of the original house
The ground floor was designed as a social area with two large living spaces. The upper part was to serve as a quiet area with bedrooms. A wooden farm building was removed and in its place a new wooden building was designed, reminiscent of the original wooden house
An attempt was made to ensure that the new building benefited as much as possible from the character of the original building. The interior surfaces are preserved with a natural tone of spruce wood, the outer shell is impregnated with dark oil. On the side facing the farm, there is a summer kitchen with a dining room and an area that can be used as an interesting social space on warm days. At the back, the building serves as a wood store and bicycle shed
