With a privileged position on the Alpe Giomein, amidst the Breuil-Cervinia ski slopes, the Principe delle Nevi Hotel was designed by the Bettiol Architecture Studio in Aosta. Realized in two distinct phases, it crowns the collaboration between the McNeill family and the architecture studio, which began in 2008. The initial phase of the Principe delle Nevi Hotel, dating back to 2008, was recently continued with the creation of a new structure that expands the existing one. This addition features a visionary design that anticipates today's hospitality trends for a smarter, international, and dynamic clientele
High-altitude projects. The Principe delle Nevi Hotel emerges from the mountain and welcomes visitors with utmost comfort
The Principe delle Nevi Hotel is the result of two architectural interventions that create an original structure characterized by a well-defined concept: offering its guests a unique stay, with a linear yet sophisticated style, and attention to the smallest details. The project redefines the concept of hospitality by proposing a modern, chic, and contemporary Italian design in the Cervinia landscape, while also incorporating the classic touch of mountain chalets

The two buildings of the Hotel are connected by an approximately 80-meter-long tunnel through the mountain. This tunnel is endowed with a clear identity that goes beyond its function: it is transformed into an exhibition gallery, a wine cellar for storage and display, and a space for tastings. What characterizes the new structure are exclusive spaces with qualitative comfort and significant dimensions. Guests are welcomed on the semi-basement floor by a second reception, a multipurpose room for fitness and yoga, characterized by light cuts that create a mirrored effect space, and an area for luggage storage and a ski room
The new expansion extends over a large area divided across multiple levels, comprising a total of 7 suites on the first floor, 4 suites on the second floor with sizes ranging from approximately 40 to 75 square meters, and 1 suite of about 200 square meters on the top floor. This top floor suite includes a kitchen, living room, dining room, bedrooms, and a loft, constituting a modern and luxurious apartment. Each suite is equipped with a private spa suite on its own terrace. On the second floor, there is also a solarium terrace, available for all guests. Architect Mariapia Bettiol’s intervention also involved the original common areas to accommodate more guests, and the Snowflake restaurant, with its refined and exclusive design, offers guests a comfortable environment for a quality culinary experience
The furniture, designed by architect Bettiol, was entrusted to the interior contractor Concreta, specializing in the realization, production, and supply of customized furniture. The choice of materials focused on the use of wood and stoneware, giving the structure a modern and elegant look. For the external parts, the material chosen is large-format larch wood with sheet metal covering and a stone base, pursuing the idea of creating a non-invasive building that blends perfectly with the surrounding environment. The use of rocks in the lower part maximizes the deep relationship between the structure and its location, giving the sensation that the building emerged from the mountain itself
