In 2012, clients who own a historic building near the Brenta Riviera and which was renovated in the early 2000s felt the need to extend the surface area of the house. The building is divided into two units
The shell is characterized by a strong symmetry, typical of buildings dating back to the construction of that time
The extension wanted to keep the identity of the existing building clear. The designers were very careful not to create a "false history" and deliberately let the new extension appear as a pure volume, openly added to the original cubic capacity
The supporting structure is made of Wood, insulated and externally covered with wooden staves made of Siberian larch, which over time will become grey
The expansion has allowed the designers to create two new rooms, a bedroom and a study necessary in the daily life of the family, thus meeting their demand
