In the small inlet of Cala Vadella, in Ibiza, Andrés Jaque designs House in Never Never Land, a temporary accommodation conceived to make compatible the environmental riches of the valley where they are located and the hedonistic life that clients dream of
The configuration of the building means that the spacious living room can be expanded into a multifunctional outdoor ramp space that ends in a series of connecting pools. The bedrooms, located on either side of the living room avoid any hierarchy and are separated from the living room by folding walls
To preserve the natural richness of the valley, the complex, consisting of three buildings is elevated from the ground, preserving the permeability of the soil and animal paths. The geometry of the buildings has been modeled avoiding the removal of trees. Thanks to the subdivision of the complex into three buildings, the prospects for temporary housing increase, making maintenance economically feasible
