Immersed in the avenues of Milan city center, a splendid Art Nouveau palace from the 1920s houses the apartment which, thanks to skillful renovation, is transformed into the modern residence Majno 23: a mix of antique and contemporary design that composes the home of a family of professionals

Ceiling Stucco and Vintage Doors

Architect Francesca Cutini's Studio Dodici designs the house renovation Majno 23 down to the smallest details, respecting its original features and combining them with contemporary architectural elements and iconic pieces of modern design. Iron and glass doors, marble-effect porcelain slabs intertwine with the ceiling stucco, vintage doors, and the Saarinen table on the original oak parquet floor

Parisian Atmosphere in White

In the entrance and living room, a white-paneled wall gives a Parisian flair to the atmosphere that welcomes visitors. In the living room, a ceiling frame takes center stage, also painted in gold and white, along with the pristine sofa and the iconic Knoll marble table

Internal layout and materials

Walking down the hallway, you reach the kitchen closed off by an iron and glass door: a typical element that characterizes architect Cutini's projects. With its painted wood, Laminam marble effect Calacatta top, and dark glass wall units, the Cappellini kitchen designed by the architect creates that pleasant contrast of the contemporary environment within an ancient setting. The apartment is completed by two bedrooms, the master one with an exclusive bathroom and a large walk-in closet
