Interior design to capture as much light as possible. JC House in Bormio

JC House is a small building nestled among the historic houses of the high Valtellina village. The design of its interiors creates informal and light atmospheres where one can relax and welcome friends

Three floors, three living functions

The architects at BEARprogetti design one floor for each function, with 20 square meters dedicated to fulfilling basic needs in an urban, minimalist style that is both captivating and welcoming. Eating, sleeping, and socializing: the three floors of JC House are arranged according to the appropriate amount of natural light for each activity

Relax and welcome guests

The basement houses the master bedroom and bathroom, which do not particularly require natural light. The living room on the first floor, on the other hand, benefits from the maximum amount of natural light and the best view of the mountains: here the homeowner can welcome his guests in a bright and welcoming environment

Conviviality at the center

At the center of the ground floor dedicated to meals, one of the most characteristic elements of the interior design project stands out: the island kitchen with steel finishes crowns the minimal style with an industrial flavor of the environment. Thanks to the choice of the island kitchen block, which continues with the worktop that transforms into a dining table, the walls of the room remain free, allowing for maximum openings towards the outside

The staircase physically and stylistically connects

The other element of major stylistic impact in JC House is the staircase that connects the three levels. A composite metal sculpture, standing out against the white background wall, decorates, characterizes, and stylistically unifies all the rooms of the house, becoming the central theme of the project
