A functional and welcoming space for a growing family
The clients, a growing family, were looking for an affordable, yet durable and functional space. This need allowed Archive for Space to experiment with a palette of durable and readily available materials, but rich in charm. As in other architecture projects of the studio, the focus was on assembling and finishing raw materials, exploring how to transform them to achieve a surprising effect.
A notable example is the concrete block used as a finished surface: through careful processing and a final coat of paint, the concrete is transformed into a warm and textured background, perfect for the family's daily life.
