The ephemeral installation LAN - 4 is a tower that provides a landmark in the territory of the Vineyard Lanciano, in the context of the Ebro River and the bridge Mantible. Externally it is covered in glass and reflects the landscape, while contrasting with its interior wood Garnica
Ephemeral installation in the Spanish vineyards: the essence of wine in design, LAN- 4
LAN - 4 is an installation that stands out thanks to its shape from the many proposals from different countries for the 2020 festival at Viña Lanciano de Bodegas LAN, in La Rioja, Spain: the abstraction of the most used symbolic figure to allude to wine, a particular and elongated shape with the elegant touch offered by the glass is a tribute to the quality and prestige of wine

Designed by oe architect its 4 sides represent the seasons; a vertical element that rises 7.50 meters, an ephemeral landmark that stands out within the site washed by the Ebro River. The outer faces of LAN - 4 are made of a skin-mirror, resembling the elegant surface of the wine glass, and create a reflection of the natural surroundings that change throughout the year
LAN - 4 does not try to compete with the landscape of Vigna Lanciano, it interacts, captures and lives with it. Getting closer, the installation is perceived as a climatic barrier that alludes to the mountains, but, from a distance, it merges with the landscape in a poetic element, which varies with the changing position of the viewer, and showing its various facets.
The tower has an opening at the top that allows you to see the sky
It should be noted that, according to the organizers of the Festival for which it was built LAN - 4, the installation should have been removed at the end of the event, but it was so appreciated that it was decided to leave it in the vineyard permanently
