In the designing of both the Axel Hotel and the Las Chicas, Los Chicos y los Maniquís restaurant, El equipo cretivo superimposes contemporary elements with historical ones, in order to create a complex and explosive "tandem". One of the starting points of the project was the prominent location: the heart of the barrio de las Letras in Madrid, the epicenter of the city's most cosmopolitan atmosphere
Las Chicas, Los Chicos y los Maniquís: color is the undisputed protagonist of the Madrid restaurant
The main objective of the project for the Las Chicas, Los Chicos y los Maniquís restaurant, located inside the Axel Hotel in Madrid and designed by the El equipo creativo studio, was to create an atmosphere based on freedom and leisure through the use of color

The use of color was one of the most important design strategies and was applied with character and materiality in every area: an element that accompanies the visitor through all the spaces of the hotel and creates a unique atmosphere. The name of the restaurant, "Las Chicas, Los Chicos y Los Maniquíes", is the title of one of the songs that accompanied the Movida Madrilena, part of Spanish popular culture
Inside the hotel, the restaurant has three small rooms connected to each other, where once again the color is the undisputed protagonist. Each room achieves its own personality by displaying itself in a single color: red, green and pink. Both its textile walls and its chromatic proposal attempt to reference the noble rooms of the nineteenth-century palaces
