The structure, in addition to serving its own community, opens itself to the service of the surrounding communities. The entrance, underlined by an exposed concrete square, is located in a strategic point, on the road connecting the school entrance and the church
Multifunctional centre with characteristic design. Triangular geometries for an imposing building
In the community of Le Vaud there is a multipurpose centre designed by LOCALARCHITECTURE designed to serve and bring the locals together, hosting shows, events, sports activities and integrating existing school facilities

The building is surrounded by mountain landscapes: to the north the Jura mountains, to the south the Alpine landscape with Mont Blanc. The building uses the topography of the terrain as the basis for its functional programme: a concrete slab covers the technical structures, extending the outer yard and forming a large balcony open to the panorama
The roof spikes of different heights characterize the design of the building, making the staircase ambiguous and abstract. This helps to reduce the impact with such an impressive building, especially for school children. The geometry of the interior space, following the norms that standardize sports structures, is detached from that of the outer shell, which has a freer shape
The triangular glazed openings are arranged within the wooden triangles, revealing the interior of the building's volume at night, giving it a distinctive and intriguing appearance. The main staircase, as well as the stage are set inside the walls, as if they were hollowed out: the staircase in a triangular niche and the stage in a cuboid
The two sloping facades are the main load-bearing walls that support giant wooden beams, leaving the interior space free. The U-shaped beam in the main hall incorporates all the necessary technical equipment
