Innovative design for the new corporate IENOVA Torre del Ángel

The new corporate workshops of IENOVA are located on the prestigious levels 10, 11, and 17 of the Torre del Ángel along Paseo de la Reforma, in the bustling heart of Mexico City. The project, curated by Work+ by Serrano Monjaraz Arquitectos, covers a usable area of 1,230 m² per floor and proposes a design that balances operational, collaborative, and private spaces, focusing on flexibility, natural light, and architectural dynamism.

The central corridor: functional and stylistic axis

The design revolves around a main corridor, located at the center of the spaces. This axis becomes the focal point of the design, harmoniously dividing the areas of concentration and collaboration from the operational workstations and private executive offices. A strategic choice was to place the operational areas near the facade, ensuring maximum natural light and offering panoramic views to all employees.

Flexible and dynamic workspaces

One of the distinctive features of this work among interior design projects are the concentration rooms, positioned mainly along the central corridor. These spaces are designed to accommodate diverse activities: from private calls, to informal meetings among colleagues, to temporary offices for consultants or visitors.

Furthermore, informal collaborative spaces have been integrated among the workstations, allowing for spontaneous meetings without the need to book a dedicated room.

Kitchen, Training Rooms, and the Grand Town Hall

At level 11, we find a spacious kitchen area with a dining area and training rooms. These spaces have been designed to be versatile: a system of movable walls allows the training rooms to be combined to create the Town Hall, a large and dynamic space ideal for large corporate events.

The training rooms include a welcoming waiting area with padded benches and modular tables, which can be transformed into collaborative areas or isolated spaces for those seeking a change of environment.

Architectural Details: Dynamism and History

The design of the ceilings introduces movement and personality with gypsum board platabands at two levels and in two shades (white and gray), creating a dynamic and modern effect. In the open areas, instead, the ribbed slab has been left exposed, a construction detail that tells the story of the Torre del Ángel, offering a sense of height and architectural continuity.

A well-being and efficiency-oriented design

The project for IENOVA Torre del Ángel by Work+ demonstrates a deep focus on the well-being of employees, with spaces designed to enhance productivity, flexibility, and working comfort. The balance between open areas, concentration spaces, and informal zones transforms these offices into a perfect example of contemporary corporate design, where efficiency and beauty harmoniously coexist.
